Introducing Delta Eco Schooling: Empowering Teenagers for a Sustainable Future
We are excited to announce the launch of Delta Eco Schooling, a revolutionary project aimed at educating and empowering teenagers in Delta State on the principles of upcycling, recycling, and eco-friendly art. This initiative seeks to combat climate change, minimize pollution, and reduce social vices in our society.
Delta Eco Schooling aspires to reach 10,000 students across 125 secondary schools, creating 125 eco hubs that will foster future innovation and creativity. This is not just a project but a movement to inspire “Waste to Wealth” and “Awareness to Action.”
By teaching teenagers the value of upcycling and recycling, we aim to inspire a new generation of environmental leaders who will transform waste into wealth and promote sustainable living. The campaign is spearheaded under the guidance of the esteemed Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Sheriff Oborevwori.
Objectives:
- Educate 10,000 students on upcycling, recycling, and eco-friendly art
- Establish 125 eco hubs for innovation and creativity
- Promote environmental consciousness and reduce social vices
- Foster a culture of sustainability and community engagement
